Tinley Tee and Love Me Knot Shorts: GYCT Designs {Blog Tour and Giveaway}

One of my most favorite PDF patterns so far is the Tinley Tee by GYCT designs (affiliate) (read about them here, here, and here) and she is having an awesome sale combo with the Love Me Knot shorts (I blogged about them here and paired with the Tinley Tee test) which are one of the cutest pairs of shorts there is! Plus, I love sewing for my little girl and these two patterns make that so much fun!

The Tinley Tee

I have had this fabric forever. It was one of the first knits I bought from the local discount store because it was so fun. But I just did not have the perfect project for it, until this shirt!

Modification: I combined the standard short sleeve and the gathered sleeve to add the puffy gathers at the top, but the length of the short sleeve. I also added a cuff to give it a sporty look. I love how it turned out too! Super cute! 

Love Me Knot Shorts

I've sewed up this pair of shorts 4 times now and I still have so much fun with it! 

I used an old pair of slack for these shorts (this was the 3rd pair of shorts I got out of these old slacks!) and some scrap blue fabric I used here. I thought it went with the blue for the neck binding, waistband and cuffs pretty well!
